THE NEW ISO 9001 DEL 2008


THE November 15, 2008, and by unanimous vote, approved the new standard ISO 9001:2008.

From the above date standards bodies in each country have started this the preparation of national standards.

For English-speaking countries, has developed a unique English version of ISO 9001:2008 which has official status, and undoubtedly will serve to expedite the process of making available to standard users in each country English language.

With regard to certification, the agreement between ISO and IAF (International Accreditation Forum) indicates that all accredited certificates must be revalidated with the new version of ISO 9001:2008, because 2 years after the official publication of ISO 9001:2008, all issued certificates expire with ISO 9001:2000, and likewise all
